Luma
is our family clown. She is a beautiful girl from St.
Patrick’s Mastiffs and was breed by Tamara Berry. Being the
second dog in the house she was a way was raised by us and by
Sam. With that in mind she has developed into a bit more of an
independent thinker. She knows what she likes and knows just
how to encourage us to let her have whatever it is that she
wants. Everyone of us has fallen for one of her forlorn looks
and has given that girl something she wants, be it a piece of
cheese, a spot on the couch or even the best place in bed! She
has the sweetest soul I have known. She takes life in slow
motion and savors all the little things. She makes all of us
realize how important it is to just slow down and enjoy life.
When Luma wants some love and attention she is known to come
over and paw at you to be sure you see she is there. If that
does not do it, she will literally try to sneak into your lap.
The funniest thing about that is that she truly seems to think
that she can “sneak” all 180+ pounds onto the couch and
into your lap without you noticing. Like Sam, Luma likes going
to dog shows, dog classes, and the off-leash dog parks.
